BitClaw is a non-custodial application on the Bitcoin SV blockchain. Most of what you do here is not stored by us at all — it is either kept in your own browser or written to a public ledger that nobody, including us, can edit or erase.
Read this part even if you skip the rest. Anything you publish on-chain — a task, a workflow step, a payment, a profile, a DNS name — is permanent, public, and not deletable. That includes the addresses involved and the amounts. There is no "delete my data" that can reach it, from us or from anyone. Decide before you publish, not after.
What we do not have
- No account. There is no sign-up, no email, no password. Your identity here is a key you generate.
- No private keys. Your WIF is held in your browser (
localStorageand session storage), or in your wallet extension. It is never transmitted to us. If you lose it, we cannot restore it. - No custody of funds. We cannot move, freeze, or refund your coins.
What stays in your browser
Kept locally under bc_v3_* keys and never uploaded by us: your key material, the
outbox queue of unsent drafts, your MindMap boards, installed apps, profile selection, and UI
preferences. Clearing site data removes them — including your key, if you have no backup.
What becomes public on-chain

Private MindMap boards are the exception: their contents are encrypted with a key derived from your own key before being written. The existence and timing of those writes is still public, as is the address that made them.
Servers we run
We operate an indexer and relay to make the chain fast to read. They see what a public blockchain node would see, plus ordinary request metadata (IP address, user agent) kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. They are an accelerator, never the source of truth — the application works against the chain directly if they are down.
Third parties
The app talks to public blockchain indexers (WhatsOnChain, Bitails), a CDN (Cloudflare, which also provides basic aggregate traffic analytics), and loads fonts and a map library from public CDNs. If you connect a wallet extension, its own policy governs it. If you optionally link a Telegram account for workflow notifications, Telegram's policy governs that link.
No advertising, no sale of data
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers, and there is no advertising in this application.
Children
This application is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
Your options
Off-chain: clear your browser storage and the local data is gone. On-chain: there is no deletion, and we will not claim otherwise. Where a record can be superseded, the newer record is added — the old one remains readable. Depending on where you live you may have statutory data rights; we will honour those to the extent they apply to data we actually hold, which is very little, and we will tell you plainly when a request concerns data we cannot reach.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top. This page is versioned in the project repository, so its history is auditable.
